Except Russ Fiengold should immediately introduce the text to attach to this amendment to ban DIVORCE and make ADULTRY a FEDERAL CRIME since those are a threat to MARRIAGE also.

2. Feingold is not exactly well placed to introduce an amendment

to ban divorce (neither are my 2 senators). You would need a senator who has never been divorced.

He was talking about how, if the Repubs are really so worried about the value of life of children (specifically with same sex parents and how much better it is for a man and a woman to be parents), then why aren't the Repubs funding NCLB or expanding health care for children.

It was a very good point.

And I completely agree with you that if gay marriage is such a threat to traditional marriage...someone really ought to catch on to the DIVORCE issue!
