I was just browsing over there, and sure enough, it's under wing-nut control. Or did they own it all along? Was it a honey pot trick? Anyone have the scoop?

The freepers control it, admin rights and everything. But the domain owner of the font page seems to be the same. They somehow made a deal, they say, to get control of the message boards. Or, it was a rigged from the start.

As someone mentioned, the front page looks the same. The message board is sold out to wing-nuts.

13. I agree, it's kinda disturbing to see a good site overrun like that.

But I suspect he didn't actually "sell out" at all...
he might just not have the time to MODERATE his boards.

It seems pretty clear to me that the site is small and not
generating any real revenue...
He's probably just someone with a day job who is paying
for the site out of his own pocket,
and simply doesn't have time
to moderate all day or money to pay someone else
to mod for him while he's at work.

If he's open to accepting help, a few volunteer moderators
"might could" whip his boards back into shape pretty quickly.
