I got my DU gold star today and I want reader & mod. opinions on this:
Is this graphic too big for a sig line?

While a picture is worth 1,000 words, can you believe the red slice of pie represents around $500 BILLION? Check out those tiny blue slices to see where Republicans think "liberal" spenders need to reign in the budget.

As many of you know, I can get long-winded. As they say, I'm not perfect, I AM for giving, (if it's to Democratic causes.)

2. Congrats - here's the rule for siglines on DU:
Your signature line may not exceed 400 characters. This 400-character limit includes all characters, including spaces and URLs for links and images. You may have no more than one image (.jpg or .gif format) in your signature line at any time. This image may not exceed 500 pixels wide, 200 pixels tall, or a file size of 20 kilobytes. If you do not know if your image is in compliance, right click on it and select "Properties." You may not use any HTML code in your signature line except the special message board code for: bold, italics, links, center, and line breaks. You are limited to a maximum of two line break
tags.

10. Thanks sparosnare!
Thanks for posting the rule. Jeffersons Ghost might want to look at the dimensions of the sig line photo. By my read of the rules it's 65 pixels too tall to be a sig line photo. :hi:

3. You might want to scale it down a tad
Taking it down to 80% or so might make it a bit better.

6. It seems a little too big.
We have size rules for the siglines.
If I recall correctly, I sized my SD quarter to the height limit (200 pixels ?)

Anyway, you can find the allowed sizes listed in your "options."

15. One thing for sure: X=15% now look at housing and social services
combined. Together ALL social services and federal housing represent only about 30% of the total budget.

17. thanks and it's still readable! when they ask what the 15% represents
I can use bush quotes and say, "sorry. No, I'm not going to talk about that, because it would help give the enemy notification or, perhaps, signal to them methods and uses and sources. And we're not going to do that, which is umm, it's really important for people to understand that the protection of sources and the protections of methods and how we use information to understand the nature of the enemy is secret. And the reason it's secret is because if it's not secret, the enemy knows about it, and if the enemy knows about it, adjusts." do you think DUers will believe me even 15% of the time, if i say that diamondsindust?

Edited on Sun Jun-04-06 03:59 PM by LaPera
Bush's wars in Afghanistan and Iraq? IT IS NOT COUNTED IN ANY MILITARY OR PENTAGON BUDGET...

It is written off as debt...they don't have the funding so it's just borrowed money to finance Bush & the republicans sick, stupid wars all, ALL for corporate profit...As we sink deeper and deeper in debt that we have to pay for...What in the fuck are the 29% Bush believers thinking...
