Why did Bush go out of the way to point out that .....?
...Dick Cheney had no input in choosing the new Treasury Secretary?? I heard it mentioned on one of the talk shows this morning, don't recall which? However, they pointed out how unusual it was for Bush to make such a point. Why? Is there some reason that Bush is distancing himself from Cheney? Does he know something that is about to happen??

2. the new treasury sec was:
* A bush pioneer

* His firm was set to get billions if bush's social security "reform" went through .....
any bets that he won't be trying to get the s.s. "reform" up and going again.

BTW bush only does what Cheney tells him to.

is tied to some of Cheney's questionable business deals.

7. I can't imagine...
...anything coming to light about Cheney that would make me think any more or less of the man. Clubbing baby seals, having sex with a dead child, poisoning thousands for a couple hundred bucks. Cheney is the quintessential "evil, greedy, fat white man". Two hundred years ago, he would have been getting rich in the slave trade and raping the household servants.

9. I love to watch body language and I've noticed

several instances of "distance" between the two of them.

I think there is no love there at all but Cheney holds the power unless his heartless body take a turn for the worse.

11. One of the hallmarks of a habitual, inveterate liar
is, very often, the sticking in of voluntary "facts."

The liar has the unthinking, unshakable notion that such injections will add to the credibility of his tale, not really believing or not concerned that the shit will rise up and bite him. People either won't remember or won't bring it up, or else, if it does come up, a strong denial or another lie will have those witnesses doubting their own clarity or it'll all blow over quickly.
There is, of course, the ultimate plausible deniability of "I forgot" or somebody else did me bad and gave we bum poop.

Even in a murder investigation, sometimes the perp will "ruefully" inject some unneeded personal information or admission of some lesser crime in order to reinforce his credibility, never really considering the fact that the interrogator is an old hand at this and is thoroughly familiar with the ploy.

26. Y'know, this tiny freudian slip may be the biggest thing
to happen in the battle in the impeach, remove, convict and imprison go-round. "Why?" asks the breathless throng of oft disappointed roller-coaster victims.
For the first time in my memory there no was slap-'n-tickle dance about the word. On that cnn-diot show this morning, he called it out--booch lied!! Maybe a little white lie, but he lied! I was shocked, stunned, mortified and gratified, all at once.

Friggin' mouth breather actually called the faker king on his shit. The sun did not explode.
