WJ: Sheryl Stolberg...NYT White House Stenographer
Wanna see how disconnected the beltway media-types are? This lady is a perfect example. She's the new White House "reporter" for the "librul" New York Times...and she is chirping out Rovian talking points like she's spent all night memorizing them. One caller took her to task about the misleading "booming economy" horseshit that no one except those with six figure incomes may benefit from and she dismissed him by rechirping more talking points.

She's also in our heads, folks...constantly attempts to speak as to what Democrats are thinking...again, another Rovian tactic.

This lady is a textbook example of everything that's gone wrong with corporate media...and specifically the destruction of the once excellent New York Times under Punch's mismanagement.

3. Check Out The Pentagon Papers
It was the Times that took the lead in not only printing this damning plan but stood by Daniel Elsburg despite attempts by Nixon to discredit him. They also were right up with the Washington Post (another paper now worthy of birdcage liner material) in getting this story out.

2. She's been picked for a reason - complicity of purpose - she also said
she is traveling on WH trip this week and she is new.

Normal WH chores - turn down or turn off the amps for some - turn up the amps for others, including ones who will take money from your slush funds - stolen pension cuts from 'Enrons', 25000 dollar a plate benefits with taxpayer paying for use of aircraft and security and sanitizing motorcade routes.

4. The Previous Stenographer Is Doing A Bio On Condiliar Rice
Looks like a nice payday coming for the last occupant...Ms. Stolberg sees gold in them thar hills. The temptation to use the word knee-pads is overwhelming right now.

10. I've always used the image of kneeling down to kiss the ermine trim
on his robe a la Cindy Crowley. There are always a number of females kneeling down and encircling him with more waiting in line and they would gladly hurt their knees, they probably don't even think about bringing knee-pads.

8. I actually thought she was from the Washington Times!
I had the tv tuned into C-Span, but wasn't looking at the screen. From her answers, I assumed she was with the Wash. Times or some other Bush-loving rag.
It was all about how poor Bush isn't getting the credit he deserves for a great economy (too many massacres and other distractions, I guess), and Bush's resolve.
Oddly enough, she is Buimiller-like in her appearance, demeanor and voice inflection as well -- almost as if the NY Times went to great pains to not "shake it up" too much and send in someone Bush would have to adjust to.
