Do you get "Digital Comcast" cable TV?
If so, do you have "Current TV" automatically, or do you have to pay extra if you want it?

I have "Digital Comcast" in Minnesota. I still have to pay extra for "Current TV" (in spite of a recent deal where Comcast was supposed to expand the availablity of the channel.)

2. No
on Comcast you have to pay extra. On Direct TV you get with the basic package, you also get Logo.

6. It costs extra for us
We have the "Platinum" digital package, and we thought we got all the channels; yet, Current TV is part of a small additional package that we would have to pay extra for in order to receive.

9. It's the same thing in Minnesota. Even subscribers to
"Digital Platinum," which sounds like a package which should have everything, don't get "Current TV" unless they also pay for "Digital Extra."

11. What does cable cost now?
And I thought dereg was supposed to make rates go down. Ya know, the competition would drives rates down.

Well now, we have no competing cable companies and rates have skyrocketed.

Another Rethug promise found to be total bullshit.

This is the kind of thing we should be pounding on. The promises they made to get regulation to go away and the results theyve produced. Has anything they promised , happened? Nothing I can think of.

Sorry to go off message Eric

14. Comcast Chicago Checking In...
I have the digital package here and Current is on Channel 125...and it's an extra charge above and beyond the basic cable package...about $60 or so a month vs. $35 for the basic package.

I occasionally check out the channel but still miss News World International that use to occupy that channel.
