The Orange County Register

YORBA LINDA – A lawsuit filed recently by church board members accuses pastors of Calvary Baptist Church of Yorba Linda of misappropriating more than $1.5million in church funds for their own use.

Church members say pastors Richard W. Cunningham and his son Phillip L. Cunningham used church credit cards and bank accounts to pay for personal expenses of up to $3million from 2000 to 2006.

Church members also have given police a 37-page draft investigative report that alleges that the pastors took church funds to pay for college tuitions, a condominium and gas bills for relatives.

2. Foolish people.
Obviously they should have followed the Christian rules as told by Pat Robertson more closely. Then they would have learned how to steal the right way! Hell, they might even have had their own television show on some Rupert Murdoch owned network.

4. I wonder if the good pastor Cunningham is related to Duke Cunningham?
Does corruption run in families?
