Do something about Haditha: A Nightmare Problem for Us.
Edited on Sat Jun-03-06 07:57 AM by ray of light
Yesterday we had an interesting discussion here but today we're trying to bring more focus. To make the change we have to become involved. Please check this out. We need to end this war and we need to be the media!

2. The problem for us is getting Bu$h Inc. in prison where they belong.
Most of us here at DU were against the Iraqi war crime since before it was started. The Haditha incident is a nightmare problem for the rogue leadership that has highjacked our country. But We the People or "Us" never asked for this blood bath. Our Congress could not even "declare war" like they are suppose to. Because they knew it was a for profit war crime that would be denounced by "Us" in the aftermath of this cruel act of stupidity, that goes against international law and our constitution.

3. minds have been changed with more knowledge
and more action. I know because I'm one of the 80% who original wanted to 'trust' Bush. (Of course I know now why I shouldn't have, but sadly, there's no way to rewind the clock.)

4. "I'm one of the 80% who original wanted to 'trust' Bush" ?
Did you think people steal elections for honorable reasons?

5. At the time, I thought Bush had secret knowledge in support
of the war. And I didn't believe he would outright lie. I know better now. It's sad how 9-11 gave him the leaverage he wanted to start a war. And even though the supreme court selected him, keep in mind how much the media wasn't sharing with us that many of the 80% didn't know about.
