They are trying to say that not obtaining warrants is "classified
information"? Don't fuck with me Bucko.

(And bringing up Al-Qaida as an analogy - go screw yourself!) This is called attacking the victim.

:nuke:

(White House spokesman Trent Duffy said Justice undertook the action on its own, and the president was informed of it on Friday.

“The leaking of classified information is a serious issue. The fact is that al-Qaida’s playbook is not printed on Page One and when America’s is, it has serious ramifications,” Duffy told reporters in Crawford, Texas, where Bush was spending the holidays.)

1. The more they spin the more they sound like Nixon!
Nixon did exactly the same thing to hide his illegal activities - got out the "Secret" stamp..

"Oh my God, how dare somebody 'illegally' leak stuff about our illegal things!"

And the media is helping Bush all along the way as they ALWAYS FREAKING DO. First NY Times delays the original story for over a year so that Bush can get re-elected. Then when it finally comes out the rest of the media does their best to play the 9/11 card or just ignore it for bullshit stories. If Clinton had done this shit, Fox News and CNN would be in 24 hour breaking news mode since the story broke doing all they could to smear him.

4. Rep.o-man propaganda finally tells the truth
It is indeed classified. The actions and statements by King George are CLASSIFIED as high-treason! One of the most extreme ways a president can commit treason is taking his oath of office with calculated prior intent of breaking it. "I do solemnly swear to destroy the Constitution"... would have been a less treasonous statement.

5. This gets stupider and stupider.
For starters, wouldn't any enemy assume they were being spied on? It's not as if this is a new tactic. And now . . . this investigation to unearth the leaker of illegal activity a year after Bushco knew they existed . . . what's the point? Do they really think this will distract us away from the main event?

6. It's a matter of national security.
All they do is throw bullshit out to feed the misguided. Admit nothing, deny everything, demand proof, and make counter allegations. It is the first rule of criminals.
