At this time we have 0 disposable income--it's really that bad--so I can't fully participate. What I can do is place the mag open to the article in the checkout lanes of the stores that sell it. I know it's not much, but it should help the cause a little.

28. Cheaper to Print it from Online == or Photocopy - Leave everywhere!

Also leave it on trains and busses; in stations and bus stops. In taxis. Coffeeshops, laundramats.

Put some in newspaper machines, take then to the DMV, anywhere people wait.

It will be taken and/or tossed so return to replenish.

Also mail copies to people. Politicians (especially Repubs) and the Euphemedia.

At least go out and buy it once. I bought two copies of last year's Vanity Fair magazine issue with Sibel Edmonds article in it.

For the same reason, I made sure to buy CD's like the Dixie Chicks and Pinks from places where they will be added to the numbers and not get it from Ebay where it will mask the demand for that product. I want CD labels to also publish more artists' content that we want to hear. It's a small extra price to pay to help encourage better media coverage hopefully.

The doctor's waiting rooms around here usually have the local conservative rag, The Union Leader. I figure I'm just balancing things out.

I made a bunch of stickers that said "Impeach Cheney First" and stuck them on store shelves, men's rooms and so forth. I have a dentist appointment Monday so I'll be buying Rolling Stone and then donating it to my dentist's waiting room after I finish reading it. What a great idea!
