2. Notice the wording. Using appropriate procedures doesn't mean
"not guilty" of atrocities. They may be the straw that breaks the Iraqis from the US. These people know what really happened. I think this clearing of soldiers will spark some real insurgent upheavals.

3. That's what they said about Haditha as well, at first...
Any internal investigation is suspect, imo, given the cover-ups that have been happening until forced to admit atrocities.

4. Yep. I also recall reading no guns were fired by American
soldiers in Afghanistan last weekend, til the story changed yesterday.

Stand by; breaking news might be breaking differently in a day or two.

5. Yeah, it's over in LBN now with a link to ABC news. I heard Blitzer.
Nothing to see here; everyone go back to what you were doing.

They didn't claim they didn't do it; they claimed they were justified in doing it. Uh-huh.

7. US soldiers cleared by US military doesn't mean they are not guilty
of atocities against civilians and a cover up by bombing the evidence. This is bull shit!! And our military knows it and they also know there isn't anything that can or will be done about it.

9. Too bad the military doesn't have any credibility left. No one
cares what they say. It's over, we have lost the war, the respect of the world and any chance of dealing with the Muslim world. Good job Bush, you suck.

15. Yes, but that is not regarding Haditha. Of course, most of the
public will think it's about Haditha and promptly forget about it. Which is why this decision was released TODAY, probably.

16. Exactly. There was very little talk about Ishaqi.
Until now. Now it's front page news. Haditha will be forgotten.
