I'm always amazed by this story, not just at the young man and his tremendous courage and luck on the court -- but also to the whole school who cheered for him, wore shirts with his name on it, carried signs with his face and the team that was nearly nuts jumping around for him. When I was in high school, the autistic kid would have been laughed at for trying (especially by our basketball team of 'cool guys') not cheered on and supported. What a great high school of kids and what a great teaching/administrative team at that institution.
