4. just saw them in my son's school yesterday....
questioned everyone why they were there... I got different stories... and p.s. a few different opinions, too... at least it's not all leaning in one direction toward it being all right. Still surprised though, at the 54% mark in this poll.. is this usually an accurate poll?

6. It's local and for Madison, WI, the results are suprising
I'm wondering if it's been freeped? Most people in Madison oppose the war and the military recruiting here from other polls I've seen. So this was a bit alarming.

13. If I had a high schooler . . .

who was considering joining up, I would pull out my DVD of the old classic "All Quiet on the Western Front" and demand that he/she watch it. And since I would have to sign off in order for the kid to join before he/she is 18, that kid isn't going anywhere at least until then when I can no longer do anything about it.
