I'm sorry if this is a dupe, but I'm a little confused. I know there's a lot of information about Corporations wanting controls, Congress wanting to pass laws and even other ideas out there too and it's all scary to me. Maybe this has been discussed already, but given the track record of these corrupt people this could be devastating!

I don't think I'll want to use the Internet very much in the future. My daughter already tells me that she hears clicks when she calls me on the phone so what do we do??

Does anyone have ANY comprehensive policy on this, and does anyone have ANY information about groups who are fighting AGAINST this type of stuff??

I did sign a MoveOn.org petition, but that's all I've seen. They are shooting with a double-barreled gun here. Some like me would want to STOP blogging or even emailing, which would suit them fine because it will keep us from voicing opinions contrary to theirs. Then the others who would want to continue and risk being put in another huge data base will be subject to having their rights usurped further than they already are!

This is outrageous!

2. There are severals ways to trick them.Examples:

For e-mails:
There are tons of free anonymous e-mail sites on the net(Just Google "anonymous e-mail")

For Boards like DU:

When registering,use a Proxy.Your real identity will be hidden.

Just the basic here but there are lots of ways to be anonymous on the net.
