A bet anyone? name ONE decision "the Decider" made that has helped America
Edited on Fri Jun-02-06 09:05 AM by Boxerfan
Seriously, I belong to a hobby board & some politics is allowed in the off topic forum. I have an item that they would love to acquire ( aprox $100 value) & am considering offering it as a prize to anyone who can name ONE decision Bushco has made that will HELP working Americans.
Any chance of me loosing this bet?. I think not but wanted to post here before I make the offer.

3. A personal bit of relief I suppose...
But he can do a hell of a lot of damage while "on vacation".

8. You could be right.
But, I still get telemarketing calls. It drives me batshit. I don't order anything over the phone, only the internet and I give my fax number for my phone number.

Would love to know how these idiots are getting my number.

13. Damn. I wonder why I get so many?
I signed up. I signed my office phone up. I get them all the time, but especially at dinner.

It's gotten so that if the call comes up 'unknown caller', I don't answer it. If it is a client, it will go to voice mail.

... does not apply.

15. Oh, I know.
I get calls from companies and charities with whom I have dealt and I don't believe the law applies to charities either.

But I get calls from people who want to sell me vinyl siding, etc. And I have never had a relationship with some of these companies.

Would that one count??....Would be really sad if that's all we can come up with. I'd wager a Dem came up with the legislation before he signed it-If so not a winner right?

9. Correct. Somehow that got passed. How the AWOL/moron didn't....
screw that up is beyond me? As one who works at home, having bidness calls interupted 20 times a day was just horrible. Someone should investigate how this one good thing got through. The Idiot-child must have been out of town to allow it to pass.

5. I'm sure you are safe
These assclowns have done NOTHING for working Americans. I got a tax rebate of $600 at the beginning of his "term" and now I keep thinking "...only six hundred bucks for eight years of this bullshit?" It was nothing more than a carrot; the Punk has taken much more than that at this point. It was a loan that I didn't ask for with money that was mine to begin with. Instead of feeding someone that really needs it, it was used to replace CEO tax-cuts.

Armed robbery is illegal...unless you're the IRS.

11. Lou Dobbs has a similar survey going on.
He wants his viewers to write in with what bush* has done right.
I've come up with a few:

1. He got rid of Saddam Hussein. Saddam was a corrupt, evil dictator. But of course he was overthrown by a country conned with lies and propaganda. Bush* went about it without a plan, or enough troops and equipment, or any real idea about bringing in another government.

2. The Plunge Protection Team is keeping the Market from crashing which is a good thing. Of course if bush* bothered to run the government and made decisions for the good of the US, we wouldn't need the PPT involvement ever few days.

3. Bush* is able to say anything, in any distorted and mangled manner, and the media, congress and some voters actually believe that he will do what he says.

16. We can argue
that he botched the aftermath and Tora Bora was a boneheaded mistake.
But I think he was right to go into Afghanistan.
That said, I think Gore (or any President at that time) would have done the same.

23. This is not the issue
We really will never know if 9/11 could have been prevented.
My point was that given that it DID happen I think the Afghan invasion was the right choice.

"Stay the course" has also allowed about 2,500 U.S. soldiers to meet God, personally.

24. Ding Ding Ding!!
I'd say that is a plus for the common man. Getting bit so hard in the ass that he gets off it & becomes involved is a plus I guess. You(would have) won a fabulous B-20!!
Now guess what that is....Ok, I'm into pellet guns & that is a discontinued model that has a strong following. Bought 2 way back when & 1 has sat while the other has been honed to perfection for accuracy.
I love talking politics in those forums. they are predominately Republican but are seeing the light in vast numbers.
The few who haven't repented are fun to play with in a political debate. It's a cat & mouse thing & I hate to be cruell....But it is so freakin funny!!

Worth it to me ( I bought it real cheap on close-out) just for the entertainment value...

I suggest those with extra items to donate do similar challenges on thier respective hobby boards...Sure to open some eyes when the answer is NOTHING!!...

Strange thing is I've asked this for months & now Lou Dobs has it as his Q of the day...
