Blatant Ricism on the rise. Reverse (anti) discrimination at work.
Let's see if we have this right.

She ignores and fails to follow up on Richard Clarke's repeated warnings about domestic attacks.
She ignores the daily briefing warning of a imminent attack on US soil. She calls it "historical". She must be hysterical in shoe stores.
She is put in control of Iraq reconstruction. Not once. Twice. Her successes are underwhelming.
She ignores and insults an Iranian effort THREE YEARS AGO to a) make peace with Israel, b) search out the Taliban and Al Qaida, c) make the middle east a democratic, peaceful area.
She ignores and insults the Iranian president's letter, calling it worthless and pointless.

Then, after dozens of senior GOP experts warn her to change her tune, after China, France, Germany, UK, Russia uniformly suggest that she change her tune, and after 70% of americans disagree with her Iran policy, she agrees to accept the Euro-China plan of carrots/stick to Iran. Even though she creates and raised unreasonable demands, insults Iran repeatedly and looks generally like a petulant, stupid and spoiled brat. (the truth does come out, doesn't it?)

And the reaction within the US MSM?
THEY ACT AS IF SHE WERE BRILLIANT AND IT WAS ALL HER DOING!
She gets dragged kicking and screaming into this deal, and SHE GETS THE CREDIT?

I would be very happy if peace did break out, although I sincerely doubt that Cheney will let that happen. I would be glad to go back to the 2003 overtures from Iran and deal with it in a sensible, mature and effective way. With Condi and Cheney, I just cannot visualize it happening.
Watch her raise the bar, change the ground rules and lie to America to keep it from happening.
The stupid little twit. This is nothing less than a tooth-gapping example of Ricism. Favoritism based on her sex, her stupidity and her race. Amazing what piano playing can do for one's reputation.

1. If you believe that
... that her free passes are because of her race and sex, maybe you're the one who is racist/sexist. I say that because I don't think I could count high enough to take an inventory of all the free passes the administration has been given. And they've been, for the most part, old rich white men. Sure Condi sucks. BUt why single out her? How about Rumsfeld? Chertoff? Do I need to go on?

3. I can see why some think criticism of Condi Dearest would be sexist/racist
But this morning on NPR, they were fawning all over her. If you look at her performance, ignoring her sex and race, it is obvious that she is completely and totally incompetent. I read elsewhere her being described as having the anti-Midas touch, because every issue she handles turns to shit.

The real question is why?

Look at M. Albright. Smart, experienced, savvy, and effective. Look at Colin Powell, for the most part principled, smart and rational (although I hated his UN pony show) Look at many talented people who held both the Security Council position and the Sec. of State position. And with ever comparison she just plain sucks the big one. My criticism is based on her performance. I merely question WHY she gets away with it each and every time.

Not once has she been called on her errors. Not once. Instead she is treated like royalty, almost like how Hillary was treated in her first run for senate. OK, you tell me why she gets such strong rave reviews from the Media. Don't compare her to the old criminal white men in this administration. Explain why SHE gets the pass.

2. When I look at her, in essence, I see a bald, middle aged WHITE man ...
Right Wing Republican. Why? Every thing she says and every one of her actions seemingly reveal people who look "the part."

That's why she's the Neo-Con's *untouchable.* IF we DARE criticize Condi, they scream both sexism and racism. That's sick stuff.

Ms. Condi Rice is an ALL AMERICAN TRAITOR: not only in failing to recognize humanity and the American Wage Worker, but she's also a disgrace to both her race and her gender. Equally disgusting is Michelle Malkin - her small scale counterpart in the "bought and paid for" USA Corporate Media Machine.

Neither of them are minorities, nor women. They are MADE key players within the Military-Industrial Investor / Ruling Class. ALL of these ghouls share only one color - GREEN! :puke:

4. Rummy Wolfie etc have full luxuriant hair
and plenty of DU'ers are bald and middle aged.

Just saying!

(PS I surely get your point -- and condi has a republican lady hairstyle, which I have never seen on a Dem, male or female)

5. I think it has more to do with her personality
She has more poise than most of the cabal. She seems likeable enough. She has, no doubt, put up with some disgusting things from the WASPS of the party. People see her as the "softer side" of the administration. I do not mean to imply that she is soft because she is a woman. I mean to say that she is not a hard ass in public like most of the other people in the BADministration.

I do not think she is stupid. I think she is intellegent, a team player--nay a team captain--in BushCo. I also think she is every bit as corrupt and evil as anyone else in the administration. I think of her as an (not the) archetect of the deliberate RW ruining of America. In power, I would put her at about number three, behind Cheney and Rumsfeld, and right ahead of Gonzales. Shrub, as figurehead for all this, is down the list on real power.

6. They're all useless morons. She fits right in.
I don't care if she's black and a woman. She's stupid and evil.
