Identity loss / theft / mixing up

If more then one person end up with the same voter ID, neither person gets to vote until the issue is resolved. Who else but the managing entity of the IDs can resolve the problem?

Who manages the identity records?

Who benefits from messing it up?

1. Now, THAT'S an interesting question.
Surely the beneficiary wouldn't the majority party and candidates who won fair and square.

I've been wondering about all the mass identity thefts that have occurred, and what might be done with that data.

The Democratic Party needs to get people to check on their voter registrations BEFORE election day, or set up a proxy system to do that.
