Well, they CAN be, but I pay the minimum for them and so they only get displayed when there are no ads for somebody who pays more in the queue.

7. Well there are two sorts of ad...

I pay for a site-targetted ad for JUST DU. Those are per impression. I pay twenty-five cents for every thousand times it gets displayed, and no extra if you click on it. But if I paid more, my ad would get displayed more often. It only appears when there are no other ads that are paying more.

Other ads are per-click. They pay a minimum of five cents per click, and some pay several dollars per click if they are really pushing something where a click translates into real money, like insurance... I buy some per-click ads too, not targeted to DU, again paying the minimum.

I figure if I can spread the message it is worth the $1.50 per day I budget for Google ads. Wish I could afford more, actually, but clicks into White Rose usually do not translate into me making any money, so I cannot.
