A very grown up look at such an important issue as preventive war - I was impressed.

The kids asked good questions and even better, Noam had very precise and knowledgable answers.

Those kids were left with a lot to think about.

15. One more thing about preventative war.

When he talked about how our aggression against Iraq was preventative war, he made it clear that if we were to apply that same definition to what is happening right now with respect to Iran, they would have every right to invade the United States. Not that he condones that. But I find it an extremely good argument for using, to combat those who seem to think we can just run around the world and invade. Or for those who don't have a perspective other than a US-centric view of how the world should work.

I'm not sure I stated that in an effective way. I sort of doubt it. His speech is a must see. It's all one needs to defend against the standard array of prowar talking points.
