I just sent a E-Mail to my Republican Senator about Alito.
I plan on calling him every 2 days until they vote for this piece of crap Alito. Here is my e-mail I sent:

Samuel Alito poses a grave threat to all Americans. It is time for you as a Oregon Senator to stand with us Oregonians and you should vote NO on Alito. Your moral obligation is to us here in Oregon and not the White House or the Republican Party. They are not the ones that voted for you. We here in Oregon don't need a Good German but a Good Senator.

From A Democratic House Hold
that has voted for you twice.

And yes we have voted for him twice.

1. Short, strong and to-the-point!
Well done -- and reminding him that YOU voted for him should give him pause, if he has any further political ambitions.

4. That was my point.
Every time that the Republicans have pissed me off I have called his office. They know that Senator Gordon Smith is walking a very tight rope with us here in Oregon. If he does vote for this Nazi I will call him and tell him that I will do what ever I can to get a Democratic in office. Even though that is my plan any way.

9. Tell him BEFORE he votes that you will work against him
if he votes for Alito. Got to publicize the penalty to deter crime.

5. There were some issues that Senator Smith has stood with and
we like him. One of the major ones was standing for us gays/lesbians here in Oregon.

13. Here's a link to all Senator's emails and phone numbers too!
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

It's the general government website for the Senate. You can indicate your state and email your Senators directly from their own site (this info courtesy of bettyellen, in the DU Activist forum).

vote for a RW activist Supreme Court nominee, who doesn't represent the values of the average American, is a great strategy, imho. With Bush's poll numbers so bad, they will be worried, so this might just work.

Excellent letter.

for your republican senator.
