Had to share this..
From the letters to the editor in today's Philadelphia Inquirer:

Don't believe polls

As I watch President Bush's poll numbers supposedly drop every day, with the media continually bashing him with glee, please let me make four quick observations.

First, by a very high percentage, I assume, the pollsters making these calls are liberals, with the questions slanted in their biased way.

Second, any logic would presume that the pollsters are reaching a heavily skewed audience of Democrats at home. (We Republicans are out making money, and hiring people, to keep the economy going.)

Third, I'm 49 years old and still waiting for a pollster to call me. For some reason I don't think I'll ever get the call.

Last, and most important, if an election were held tomorrow with Bush against any Democrat, GW would win convincingly and overwhelmingly. The American people would go into the voting booth and, through common sense, realize that the economy is growing and in great shape and that President Bush is killing terrorists before they kill us.

It's as simple as that. Period. End of story.

1. Can we say, "delusional"?
I grew-up in a town by Haddonfield. I couldn't wait to get out of South Jersey. It's pretty conservative in those parts.

9. I live about 8 miles from Haddonfield and I say...
they can stay there. My town is BLUE, thru and thru. Believe it or not, when my family moved here about 5 years ago, we actually looked at political maps on the internet, just to make sure we didn't move to a red area.:puke:

11. I grew-up in Moorestown.
Don't know if things have changed, but the town was filled with rich, Republican, snobs.

5. Yeah, it's quite obvious that all the polls are in collusion...
It must have been quite a feat for the pollsters to figure out only when Dems are home, who was a Dem so that only they would receive the calls... Guess they had help from the NSA...

I think we should all email little Scotty Durham and let him know what a moran he is...

"As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Not necessarily fairly, but I bet he would by any means necessary.

13. Let me just say this about Bush's low poll numbers
He didn't really start dropping below the 40% mark until the whole illegal immigrant issue came to the fore. At least 10% to 15% disapprove of Bush for exactly the opposite reasons you or I disapprove of him. To them he's not fascist enough.

14. Dear Scott ---
--- well, allow me to retort.

(1) Wrong. Pollsters are not necessarily liberals, since there have been "push polls" engineered by Turdblossom, Inc for the sole reason of manipulating public opinion via "whispering campaigns"... just ask John McCain in 2000 if you don't believe me.

(2) Wrong. Most pollsters, in order to reach a broad cross-reference, wold probably call either at nights, or on weekends. I have an answering machine, and pollsters NEVER seem to call during the day. And as far as Republicans being "...out making money, and hiring people, ...keeping the economy going," I call bullshit. If you red state windbags knew didly-dick about the economy, we'd have one-dollar gas, and free electricity. And don't blame it on Democrats --- you bozos run the fucking country. You fucked up, now let someone else take a turn.

(3) Wrong. You're 49 years old, and if the whole of your sorryass existence is waiting for a liberal pollster to call you, then you're even more pathetic than your letter show. Please keep this sort of thing to yourself. Nobody cares.

You are a dumbass.

It's as simple as that. Period. End of story.

Thank yew.
