4 Arrested at Rumsfeld's House

Four protesters were arrested yesterday at Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's house in Northwest Washington after trying to deliver an antiwar letter, authorities said.

Medea Benjamin, co-founder of the antiwar organization Code Pink, said two of the four people were members of her group.

In all, about 200 people protested outside the home on Kalorama Road NW, according to Benjamin and U.S. Secret Service spokesman Eric Zahren.

Zahren said the protesters were warned several times to stay off the property before being arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful entry. They were still in custody late last night.
