Just figured since you all are literally working overtime with the TO/Rove threads, I figured someone ought to notice.

I certainly feel the same for the work all the mods are doing in other groups beyond the life of GD and was worried when I specifically posted to the GD mods that others might feel left out.. SO DON'T... I should have been more generic.

You ALL are great... so AGAIN... if you're ever find yourself in Austin and looking for some good eats... the tab is on me.

First, I think the idea Skinner had to have the TO/Rove threads is fabulous! There were so many threads in GD yesterday it was making my head spin! So kudo's to Skinner, AND kudo's to the Mods for staying on top of the threads, locking them at the designated post count, and starting new ones.

And kudo's overall for the job the mods do, ESPECIALLY in GD. Heavens, but things move fast here, particularly during the peak daytime hours, that it's a wonder they can keep up with them, but they do!

It's a tough and all too often thankless job to moderate a message board. No matter what you do, someone will complain.

When I read Skinner's post, my first thought was that if there's bitching from both sides, it's a good bet the moderating is evenhanded. That's not an easy tightrope to walk and I salute those who do it.
