Whasssupp???? Gas prices finally kicking in??? People aren't buying 'the robust economy' bullshit? Doesn't look good.

~snip~ The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 77.32 points to 11128.29. The blue-chip average has now given up 514 points, or 4.4%, since last Wednesday's close, though it's still up 3.8% for the year. ~snip~

1. Nope. It's the relief we all felt when the Chimp
signed the new tax bill. We were so happy that our billion and millionares will be able to keep on investing in our economy to keep in strong...that we up and sold our stock--you know, a market correction.

3. I've actually expected this for some time
but I doubt it will last, not this time.

There aren't that many places for the tax relief lavished upon the rich to go. Real estate is SO 2002.

However, if we don't manage to get this country's fiscal house in order soon, that is not going to last. There is nothing that can support this forever. The system is unsustainable, fueled by the failed policies of conservatives in both parties.

The restoration of fiscal sanity needs to be radical and it will be very painful. Neither party is willing to do any of it right now, the GOP because they are delusional and the Dems because they are timid and corrupt.
