12. Anyone who has ever actually served in the military can tell you that:
From a sitting position, kick your leg over the side of the vehicle, pull yourself up over the level of the sill, slide your inner leg out, and slip gracefully to the ground. You won't even muss your hair.

Good for exiting jeeps, Humvees and other olive-drab transports.

if it were a BMW or a Mercedes he'd have no time getting out. or if it were bike he'd have no. . . oh wait he always falls off.

If he was a real cowboy he'd be able to get out of that thing. but then he'd probably have to be a real texan for that to be true. and if he was a real cowboy he wouldn't be a fake president so really I am asking for the sun and the moon on this.

i know its theorized that he has no horse-riding skills, does anybody know if that's ever been admitted?

that is what they say in texas. soemthing about being all hat george????

but i did see a picture of him as a kid on a horse. not riding like we did when we were young. literally just sittin and getting a picture taken. so could just be a story. but that is the story told down in these parts, lol wink.

so that's suspicious.

plus i think that great WIll Ferrell W impersonation video that has him out on the ranch has really sunk in with me, and in that he's freaked out by a horse.

53. this one?

Other DUers in Bush's age group have noted that it looks like the portraits taken by itinerant photographers who used to go through neighborhoods with a pony and a bagful of Western duds -- put a hat and chaps on your kid, plunk him on the pony, and that's your keepsake portrait.

I've heard that the guy who made the comment about Bush not knowing how to ride was the person he appointed as ambassador to the Czech Republic, who is married to one of Bush's cousins.

35. He has two: blue and khaki. This one is the Border Patrol shirt...
complete with sleeves rolled up and massive underarm sweat stains (Does he know about anti-perspirant?)

He only seems to have one ppair of "work" shoes (some sort of chunky Timberlands) that he wears on casual occasions like the G-8 summit in GA, NOLA and dune buggy rides.

Why the hell wasn't DimSon wearing some sort of 4 point harness in that dune buggy? You'd think the SS would make sure he wouldn't be thrown from the vehicle if it crashed or overturned.

55. remember when they dissed Al Gore for sweating?
Funny how they're so quiet when they see pics like this (or the one in New Orleans, as he's going up the steps to the plane, where it looked like his "back bulge" had sprung a leak).

He also wears those chunky shoes when he's throwing out the baseball pitch, in case he slips and falls on his ass. (Clinton and Gore took their chances in dress shoes ...)

Re: Bush and seatbelts, I'm not surprised ... he's never been one to obey safety regs, even the ones in force for government employees. (When he's out posing with his chainsaw, he's not wearing proper eye and ear protection, of the type mandated in Forest Service training.)

''Having a big mouth can sometimes get you into trouble, I should know. The only similarity George W. Bush and I have in common is the inability to keep our traps shut. I have no political inclinations nor do I wish to present a particular social comment, however I do know that George's views can take us to a very scary place, a place I don't want to go - a world at war.
