And it's so worth it - I feel safer already! :sarcasm:

Can you believe the senate passed this shit?

I assume that Halliburton will be building it?

15. Here inOz, we have a moat....
But that doesn't work either.
Even the Kiwis find their way across. I think Sydney is the second
largest city of New Zealand.
The only to "solve" the "problem" is move the US to Mars.

in Nogales, Tijuana, El Paso, etc, as I have simply as a tourist.

I saw a man try to squeeze through the bars of the revolving gate--it was horrifying until another pulled him away.

If people are that damn desperate (and I saw dozens make it across the POE ILLEGALLY), no wall is gonna stop them.

4. They have fogotten that they worshipped at Ronnies feet
for asking that a wall be torn down. Short term memory is nonexisitant over on that side of the aisle, I think.

7. Fourteenth Century solution to a 21st century problem...
1) For starters, it will cost a zillion bucks and take forever to build.
2) Tunnels
3) Human ingenuity/desperation

The really sad thing about this is what it says about the state of US leadership/diplomacy that all they can come up with is a physical barrier.

Our Country is being controlled by the stupidest people in it.

8. A wall is stupid and a total waste of money (lots of money). They
build tunnels big enough to drive a truck through so no damn stupid wall is going to stop them. EVERYBODY in Wash DC needs to get a grip on reality.

Do they feel so guilty about letting 9/11 happen that they feel the need to continually overcompensate forever? The biggest after the fact barn door closure in world history continues.

crossed illegally ocver a formidable mountainous area in Canada--but damn--how can we build a wall with our Northern friends?

14. This is a stupid, awful idea.
First, there are two sides to a wall; it can keep people in as well as keep them out. And don't you just love the idea of a wall topped with razor wire as the new symbol of America? Oh yeah, and if we need a wall for security against the terr'ists instead of just a way of keeping them Mes'kins out, why aren't we building a wall along the Canadian border, too?

24. Anybody heard of a "wash"?
A wash is a very large ditch which carries off water in the desert. You can't build a wall in a wash and washes are where many illegals travel.
