Digging for Jimmy Hoffa....again.

The FBI has been searching a farm in Michigan for the possible remains of Hoffa. It has been rumored that he is buried in numerous locations around New York for years.

The last time he was seen alive, he was supposed to have a meeting with a teamster leader and a member of the mob.

If he was in Michigan at the time of his disappearance, why would they take him out east?

Does anyone think he will be found?

I haven't really followed the case, but I'm curious as to what other people think.

makes the public think that they're actually working on something. After all, Hoffa has been dead for years, so it's a safe bet. Osama Been Forgotten has too many ties to the Bush family, and if he actually was captured and put on trial, it might bring out some things that are embarrassing to the Administration.

I've always wondered what the "big deal" was.
Having lived in Michigan all my life, I've been hearing about it all my life.

My grandfather on my mother's side was a Teamster, so he followed the story very closely. He had some interesting anecdotes about "mob ties" with the Teamsters and whatnot, but I was too young to really understand the gravitas and the meaning behind all of it.

I suppose if he was alive now, I might just ask him.

10. Try this book

entitled, "Hey Frank, I Hear You Paint Houses". It's about the life of Frank Sheeran who was the teamster official/enforcer who admitted in a dying declaration to shooting Hoffa; And that Hoffa's body was removed to a mortuary by others to be cremated. The home where Sheeran said the killing took place has since been searched for traces of Hoffa's DNA, but no evidence was found.
