Judicial Watch Claims to have Proved Bush won in Florida in 2000!!!!!!!!
Edited on Wed May-17-06 10:59 PM by Humor_In_Cuneiform
Yes, "Judicial Watch" the folks who brought us the tapes of the plane hitting the Pentagon yesterday.

http://www.judicialwatch.org/

JW approached the subject with an open mind that it would disprove all the "conspiracy theories."

They are self-described as "a conservative, non-partisan educational foundation, promotes transparency, accountability and integrity in government, politics and the law."

Other claims to fame by the group:

They claim that Abramoff was only at the White House once or twice since Bush took office.

The above logo appears without any description as an advertisement. The link is to the watering grounds of many radical right wing, Neocon "journalists" or "pundits." http://www.townhall.com/opinion/columnists/

Below is a small sampling:

Ann Coulter
Michelle Malkin
Robert Novak
Cal Thomas
Clifford May
Charles Krauthammer
Armstrong Williams
Joe Scarborough
Oliver North

They run an active campaign against the Clintons. A quick trip to their web site

http://www.judicialwatch.org/

provides ample evidence of that.

They link to the notoriously right wing Wall Street Journal editorial page.

There is a derisive attitude towards anyone who is pro choice.

Oh yea, this is a really great "non-partisan" educational site.

Now if they were only NON IDEOLOGICAL and unbiased, then they might have something to brag about.

Anyone else see any gems from their pages?

17. In a somewhat literal sense, I suppose, partisan refers to political
parties.

They might be able to squeak by on non partisan.

But they don't come more ideologically biased than these guys.

7. The point is that Judicial Watch also brought us the tapes yesterday
supposedly of the plane crashing into the Pentagon.

This story about proving who won Florida only demonstrates the huge lack of credibility as to purpose and facts this group should be regarded with.

8. Let me say this about that.........
I hope all those idiots who voted for Bu$h are suffering, big time. I could see what that bastard was made of the very first time I heard him try to talk. He was a complete and total idiot then, and he's a complete and total idiot now.Everything he touches turns to shit.......he's made such a mess in this country it's going to take decades to fix. I am so tired of repukeliKKKans stealing elections, making all these horrible messes and then the Dems have to come in and clean it up. As soon as they clean up all the elephant dung.......here come the criminals back in office to phuck it all up again. It's nothing but a vicious circle.

4. GW Bush was selected, never elected in 2000
Katherine Harris and the right wing on the Court gave the election to W. The will of the people was dissed.

The GOP need to take ownership of that travesty.

6. Yes, it couldn't be more clear and obvious. Therefore this
group cannot be trusted to bring us valid information or reports or anything.

:nuke:

Now the point is they are NOT a neutral group, who bring us information to promote truth.

Everything they bring out is in my mind now suspect.

11. IF you didn't know about them, you migh tknow about this
THere is a segment of our society that believes there is a plot in the works for a UN take over of the USA, or something like that. A plot years in the works.

During the Clinton administration, this group was 'tapped' and encouraged to 'hate Clinton' as being the main person to bring this about. As this 'issue' was studied, it was relized that several Preisidents signed exective orders that made such a 'thought' more possible. The 2 Presidents before Clinton (covering 3 terms) were Republicans. So, while they 'sorta' realized it wasn't a Democratic plot, they were still 'against' the government in power.

This group support Bush, of course. But quickly did not. Some sitll do, oh well.

Hence, Democrats are not the only ones that thinks something smells fishy over the 9-11 reports. And for this group, it seems to fit directly into the 'plan.' Look how much privicy and freedoms have been taken away. Couldn't have EVER happened without an event like 9-11.

How does this relate to JW? SImple. Just like the posters here on DU do all sorts of research. Have devoloped contacts here and there. MAde contacts with some media folks, etc.. Who do you think was doing some of the foot work for the JW during the Clinton years? Oh, look here! Oh, look there!

Think friendships were made? Sure, that is the way life is.

Take politics or 'team spirit' out of the picture, you would be suprised on how many things the 'commen' republicans and democrats will agree on. Our freedoms is one of them.

Trust them? Please... LOL! No way. I don't know those guys, but I know their history and some of it stinks. But it is possible that this is a serious issue with thee guys.

However, unless I'm mistaken, they also tried hard to get the dope on Cheney's secret Energy Policy meetings.

16. I'm aware of that,
but they apparently tried pretty hard, and in good faith. They did the same with Hillary Clinton's health care committee, and were successful (naturally!). But there really wasn't anything "secretive" about that; it was more like storming through an unlocked door. But it sure made them look "heroic".

If there's a "moral" to all this, it's read everything, but always consider the source. And NEVER stifle discussion. There's almost always something else worth considering.

14. Guess I hallucinated all the excitement about the tapes Judicial Watch
was going to and did put out yesterday, allegedly showing the plane crashing into the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

Yep, so all this is of little interest.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled infighting, attacking, oneupsmanship, and for a few real discourse and communication.
