Gov. Doyle Visiting My School Tomorrow. I NEED Advice!
Edited on Wed May-17-06 10:54 PM by Dinger
I posted this in the Wisconsin board, but I wanted to know what you think:

There is this reicht-wing teacher at our school, I mean I can't even tell you all the crap she has done. Governor Doyle will be visiting our school tomorrow. Anyway, a daughter of hers worked on markie green's campaign. I got some info on her today. Apparently, she went around school, telling teachers and paraprofessionals to wear the color green tomorrow, in protest.
Also, the elementary students will be singing "Let There Be Peace On Earth," for Governor Doyle as he leaves. (The music teacher is a nice Dem.) Most of Doyle's time will be spent with seventh grade students. Two of the music teacher's students (who are in the "teacher's" class expressed that "What if we don't like Governor Doyle?" and "We like mark green in our class." One of the students is a brother of one of the little victims of this "teacher," and that child wrote a letter to the governor, and expressed a totally different view. There were several classes that have written the governor, and their letters will be delivered to him tomorrow. In other words, two brothers, same family, same influence, with the only difference being the teacher. I have copies of that letter for documentation. Also, the students in this "teacher's" class were apparently told to wear green as they perform for Governor Doyle tomorrow. Well, I went and talked to my principal, and there was an announcement made about "being respectful and dressing appropriately for the governor, and doing our best." Also, the "teacher" was talked to by administration. This has happened before (during '04 campaign) She was reprimanded, and has at least 2 letters that I know of, but she's still doing the same shit. It's been going on almost 20 years. I still don't trust her. I should mention that our principal is a Dem, and even our superintendent. This "teacher" has a reputation that goes well beyond the walls of our school. If it wasn't for the power of Governor Doyle's veto pen, our little district would have had to come up with $208,000. We would have had a hard time staying open if this repuglucan budget went through. Thank God for Governor Doyle! Anyway, I'm rambling and typing this way too fast, but I just had to see what you all thought. The governor Will be at our district tomorrow
at 10:00 a.m. You can stop by if you want! Check out my class site (if you can figure out which one it is??) There will be something up on our site, and my class page by Friday morning.

1. I'd paint her car windows green,
but that's just me.

Sounds like you've got it covered, especially since she's already been warned.

When you get the chance, lead your kids in a great big cheer for the Governor and make sure you make them nuts and keep them screaming for him.

That should do nicely, don't you think?

Break a leg, and good luck.

After Tom "The Taxman" Thompson left our state in financial ruin and did everything in his power to make sure teachers had to work harder for less pay you still have idiots like the one you work with. If anyone should be pissed at the pukes it is teachers.

On edit Mark Green is typical Republican slime and has ties to our buddy Tom Delay. God help us if this idiot is elected Governor.

4. I Am Aware Of His Connections To delay and abramoff
I FINALLY saw an anti-green television ad a couple of days ago, during the morning news (Wausau area).

5. Doyle ain't perfect but I think he has done a good job.
Especially having to deal with one of the more nasty Republican state houses of my time. The thought of Scott Jenson and Chucky Cvala wearing orange jump suits brings a smile to my face.

7. Doyle is a great Governor. I would hope Wisconsin has the wisdom to
keep an adult in charge.

8. It's my understanding that it is illegal to campaign within so
many feet of a polling place. This is clearly campaigning.
Now maybe that doesn't apply before election time, but it would be a good point to bring to your principal or even super.
It that fails, slip something in that "teacher's" coffee that makes HER turn green.
