Here's mine:

"Giving money to fundamentalist kooks, getting attacked by fundamentalist kooks, then placing 2 countries under the control of... fundamentalist kooks."

2. Eisenhower warned us about the military industrial complex
Bush put this same warning into action for those Americans that didn't understand Eisenhower.

5. Failed opportunity
to capitalize on national and world opinion after 9/11 to craft a truly bipartisan and global support for both our national and international challenges.

He had it within his grasp -- and let it go in favor of partisan/divisive/macho posturing to reward the greediest among us.

6. His legacy will be:
To prove that it is possible for the greatest country in the world to be driven to its knees and betray every principle it was founded on, in just a few short years, by electing a lying, fascist, warmongering idiot as it chief executive. On the positive side, this ought cure most Americans of being complacent about voting and watching what the folks in Washington are up to.

10. Elected? The last office DUH-bya was elected to was
Governor of TX. Given his track record, I wouldn't be surprised to find that one was fixed.

16. I should have phrased that better, I guess.
I view the "election" of 2000 as suspicious at best, and stolen outright at worst. I don't think we will ever know the truth. That is another lesson to take from the Bush years: Things like botched elections can -- and do -- happen here.

17. It will be:
That the U.S. Constitution will cease to be just a written document, but will instead look like one of those documents that get released under a Freedom of Information request.

You've seen those documents--just look at some of the stuff on thesmokinggun.com, if you want to see what they look like. They have, like, a couple of words, then a big crossed-out portion, then a few more words, then more big black crossed-out parts, etc.

Here's the pre-Bush 4th Amendment: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Now here's the Bush Legacy 4th Amendment: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation zip-zero-nada, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
