Folks have figured out the rich got the tax cuts, the rest got crumbs--plus they, their children and grandchildren are stuck with the massive federal deficit, courtesy Bush and the Republican Congress.

And Tweety and Tom Ridge, the former head of Homeland Security, are completely mystified why this is so--or so they insist. Bullsh*t!

The poll says Dems are more trusted on tax cuts than Rs. That means that people realize that:

1. Dem tax cuts would be targeted to THEM, not the extremely wealthy, and

2) Dems would cut taxes if and when necessary, not as a one-size-fits-all solution a la
the Rs.

I think most Americans realize that the tax cuts have hurt the country, not helped.

of his state. Tweety has a vested interest in trying to pump up the Rs.
