3. So, does this de-bunk the freepers' "it was just gas prices" claim?

Since his approval rating is a little up, yet still dismal, in the midst of CRUSHING gas bills, which make the auto fuel crunch seem like a walk in the park (at least for me), is it safe to say that the anti-war movement behind Cindy Sheehan actually did help sink the shrub's poll numbers? The anti-war movement has kind of backed off -- maybe Cindy's naysayers were wrong -- and I was one of them, at times.
