FINALLY! Rove has been Indicted !!!!
Why do you fall for this?

Every time, you fall for it.

Do any of you people want to play poker for money?
Seriously, do you?
I could use a new house.

Why do you do this to yourself? You have no way to predict the outcome. Speculation does nothing but raise your blood pressure.

If Rove lied under oath, Fitz will indict him.
If Rove took a plea for immunity in exchange for cooperation, then Fitz won't.
If Rove's lawyer somehow wins some legal battle, then Fitz won't.

You want it so bad, all you do is spam "refresh" on your browser in hypertensive anticipation. You are likely suffering health problems because of this. Stop. Just, stop. Turn off the computer. Go outside. Let things take their natural course.

Most importantly, get off of DU once in a while and go out into your town/city and make a difference. Talk to people, find out what's on their minds. Get the time/location of your local Democratic Town Committee meeting and attend (they are open to the public). Become a member if they have room. Tell people you meet when the DTC meets, invite them down. Attend your local Board meetings (Board of Ed, Board of Finance, etc.) they are also open to the public.

Make an actual difference in the world. Blogging and posting on internet message boards is nice, and all, and we all appreciate DU. But for Pete's sake, go out and DO something. And let events take their natural course.

get out of your house, away from your computer for a while.

2. Y'know, I've been saying something similar for a while...
...but don't you think that's kind of a mean trick to play on everyone here?

3. Hey, thanks for adding to the Spam
Why don't you quit worrying about everyone else, and ya know, go outside. Get a life. Talk to people, find out what's on their minds. 8. In Illinois, you can go to...
http://www.illinoisdemnet.org

Plenty of places to get involved there.

Good points, but I think it'll get locked.

making a pointless post on DU chastising people for... making pointless posts on DU?

11. It's not pointless.
Getting involved in actual politics, as the poster encourages, is not.

16. A lecture on going outside and "reality" from one who calls...
him/herself "RPGamer"???? Ummm. I sense irony.

So the "Rove indicted" is merely a false end, and our princess is in another castle?

Damn, and I'm out of quarters...

19. Look, another preachy type knocks at my door then blames me for answering-
sure, this was a funny post until it started turning into an experience worse than Jahovas Witness.

Shove your keyboard up your ass and take a picture of your face. Now that would be funny!

20. FYI
I am at work. I don't live at DU-I come here on my breaks just to see what is happening. Thanks to AAR, I knew your announcement was bogus. Frankly, I clicked on it to inform you of this. I don't see how misleading thread titles help the dialog around here.

...nobody being able to attack the notion that people should get involved and just check to see if Rove got indicted on the news later tonight.
