How close will the GOP be to Bush after the elections in November?

If they maintain control, God forbid, of both House and Senate, they will probably still follow his marching orders obediently? But, if they lose one or both Houses of Congress, will that change how they look at George W Bush? Will he then be the lamest "lame duck" in recent memory? Because the ones that are left after November will have to run again in 2008. Do they want to be seen as clinging to their esteemed leader in 2008 if they are massacred this November? Just a little reality test for the Republicans, I would say...

1. McCaIn is running in 2008 and he is sticking with Bush.

We will see what happens after the election.

2. i think that they might protect him from chIMPEACHMENT

and they will remain lock step "in support of the troops" (both the GOP and the DLC). So if w. can get us in to Iran, he will still get everything that he wants.

By November Midterm Elections most Repubs up for reelection will claim they bearly know him. LOL

Bush is a lame duck today --not later. And the only thing that might change that is if we are attacked by terrorists at home, or we start another war in Iran. Those poll numbers do not lie, and you know it is true if Gingrich is opposing Bush.
