The woman I spoke with said she cannot confirm either way what Dianne Feinstein's position is, but if you are in California, to give her office a call to ask them what her position is.

So, you know what to do. :)

Give a call and ask her office. ESPECIALLY if you are in California.

P.S. I would definitely call Joe Biden's office too!

I told them I'm in GA (they got my zipcode) and I called because she's on the fence and I have two Republican senators here who are going to vote for Alito.

although I had a hard time getting the words out coherently I mentioned the need for a filibuster because..
1. Alito was legal counsel in the Reagan admin. at a time when the administration actively seeked ways to usurp congress to fullfil their promises to foreign right-wing fellow fascists by any means possible ie Iran/Contra.
2. This nomination is no coincident. There is a reason why this man is being pushed on the Supreme Court, and it's for no one else's benefit than the Bush Administration. To confirm this man is to put the final nail in the coffin that our democracy is now lying in.
