In a perfect Republican World...

I have been trying to figure this out, but it just doesn't make sense.

In a perfect Republican World, there are NO TAXES.

Which means there is NO MONEY for Roads (except privately owned ones, like tollways) or Fire Departments (which would have to be all volunteer, and then maybe pay to ride on private roads to get to fires?) or Police (except private security forces?) or Meat Inspectors (which means we'd go back to the disease spreading slaughter houses of the early 20th century, transported on private roads) or Schools (except private ones) or Water Treatment Plants or Waste Treatment Plants or people to run them or Court Systems.

So they want NO LAW & ORDER, NO CLEAN WATER, NO EDUCATED CHILDREN, and NO WAY TO GET ANYWHERE.

I can only assume that every Republican legislative member believes they should be performing their services for free (since they don't believe taxpayers should be paying for it), so it must be some big "secret" about how they are donating their salaries to charity (including the administrative folks who work for them). I did not realize we had so many "patriotic volunteers" everywhere in our communities!

BUT on the good side, they want NO ABORTIONS, either, but since there aren't any folks getting paid to enforce that little law, I guess they plan on biblical stonings or other volunteer crowd style stuff. As near as I can determine, the only laws they really care about are "The Ten Commandments" with mandatory death penalties being imposed on everyone except them and their families for any and all infractions.

Oh, and they HATE UNIONS, which means they really want things to go back to BEFORE there were unions -- no health care, no overtime, no time off, and no job security or protections. If the boss wants to have sex with you, better bend over the desk -- no silly rules against "sexual harassment" or "discrimination" -- but hey! One of you can get STONED BY THE CROWD if you turn him in for FORNICATING!

Do you think these people realize how INSANE they sound when you actually THINK about what they claim to be all about?

ON EDIT: I think what they really want is a monarchy feudal system!

That don't want taxes or goverment programs to handle the work. They want us to pay corporations to do all this stuff.

4. Not exactly, what they want is for everyone to pay taxes

for programs that benefit only them. They loooove Defense spending, so much so that you could throw money at ANYTHING just so long as you filter it through the Pentagon. They looooove Law Enforcement, it keeps those dark people and the mullet-headed losers that they see on the news away.... They really looooove Government Contracting so reduced services can be provided while a very few people make profits.

Republicans adore Government Spending-----just so long as it's nice people, and not any dirty, poor or uppity scum, getting the largess.

Or they believe that all of those organizations are corrupt and their tax dollars would get more bang for buck if done by a private entity.

In some ways they are right, many of our public services are bloated with bureaucracy but every time they have tried to privatize them they have failed even worse.

You replace nepotism, ho-hum workers who don't really care with nepotism and workers who screw the tax payer out of not only time but cash.

They want power. Sheer unlimited power over life and death of the rest of the peasants on the planet. These billionaire scumbags want to be ancient Egyptian Pharaohs with servants to wipe their asses for them, and tell them they are Gods on Earth.

I'm not exaggerating for some comic effect. They want to be worshiped by "the masses" to give meaning to their miserable selfish existence.
