in response to a letter that was published today? The letter, which I cut and paste below, states that democrats John Kerry, Charles Schumer, Byron Dorgan and Charles Rangel all accepted money from Abramoff.

I would write the letter except they published one of my letters last month and they have a policy where they only accept one letter per person every 60 days.

Democrats tainted

In his Jan. 8 column, Yet another scandal tied to South Florida, Carl Hiaasen conveniently downplayed the Democratic side of the ''sleaze'' factor by mentioning only one or two Democrats caught up in the Jack Abramoff scandal. For the record, John Kerry, Charles Schumer, Byron Dorgan and Charles Rangel all took money from Abramoff.

Perhaps Hiaasen can next do a column on how Schumer quietly paid a $130,000 FEC fine and Peter Paul, convicted drug and fraud felon, raised funds for the Clintons.

I don't know where some of the Miami Herald's readers get their facts,but I get mine from the Federal Election Commission ( http://www.fec.gov ) According to the FEC,all of Abramoff's,and Abramoff's wife's,contributions went to Republicans.Not one donation went to Democrats.Not one.Some firms Abramoff represented donated to Democrats,just like corporations do every day.But,there was no "quid pro quo",or favors expected.If you are curious of exactly who Abramoff attempted to influence with his contributions,simply go to newsmeat-they have a great search engine.

5. Do you know what the real problem is? Flooding. The Repbulicans

accelerated their takeover of this country and the world and it is impossible to keep up - in other words, things are going according to their plan - deluge and create dis-reality and own and partner with the people who are supposed to be bringing the news - transform them to propagandists by operatiang grooming schools - then steal the votes and disrupt voting so that people are totally confused about safe voting and give up. Have your PResident say one thing at 1 pm and have someone in the Cabinet say the opposite a few hours before or after 1.

The problem here is that Hiaasen is not up-to-date and how can a person be up when they work? All according to plan.

Those think tankers are getting good money to come up with the HOW we fulfill the plan.

There may not even be enough investigative journalists, lawyers, and honest judges to counter them. We must keep getting smarter.

Educate Hiaasen and the Herald. The letter writer could be just another paid propagandist or a dittohead of Pat or Ed or Sean or Ollie.
