So .. are we ready for this "Down Goes Frazier !" moment??
Edited on Sun May-14-06 03:34 PM by Ragazz68
Tuesday...that's the likely scenario. Are we ready for this? The Rove indictment will not shock us, but will undoubtedly shock 2/3 of the nation who are just out of the daily loop. I'm ready. It won't hit me like a George Foreman right cross, yet most of the public will find themselves with another eye opening shocker....

here's to Tuesday, America....

"Down Goes Frazier ! Down Goes Frazier !!, Down Goes Frazier !!!"

2. Someone ought to check the Libby pretrial schedule...
A week and a half ago there was a post that said there would be a court date on the 16th. If that's true, Tuesday seems sort of unlikely for an announcement from Fitzgerald regarding Rove.

Anyone know how to do that?

3. Rove's indictment (should it happen) would be a visceral >
milestone. He's just a hired gun, though.

For all his amoral shit and shenannigans (read: "genius") GBHB fired him. Don't forget that. To the BFEE, he's utterly expendable.

11. Everyone's heard of KKKarl Rove by now
Edited on Sun May-14-06 04:10 PM by C_U_L8R
it's just a question of what questionable push-poll
the republicans roll out to "prove" that no one cares.
Get ready for a weeklong blast of pure putrid pundit gas.

It's funny.. the republicans just haven't figured out that
every time they lie.. they go down another notch.
Forget about the polls... they sink just a bit further into their own goo.

I'm afraid it's too late for em... they're f'd.. absolutely f'd

22. I don't think the public knows or cares about Rove per se
They will hear this as 'indictment of a Bush Admin figure' and hear about corruption, lying to a Grand Jury and, maybe, obstruction of justice. They don't need to know who Rove is to take that in as more bad news for Bush.

Corruption, lying and obstructing justice. This is a very bad thing to have pinned on this Admin. The public will remember that. It adds to the image that these people are bad news.

13. I think Rover is more well known than that
Maybe people don't know as much about him as DU & Freeperville... but, he is at least known to many as an important advisor.

What's the basis for this wonderful, if true, prediction?

20. Thanks, that
was very interesting. Forgive me, I seem to be a little dense, today. What exactly does that prove? And, more to the point of my original question, where does the "Tuesday" prediction come in? It can't come too early for me, but this seems a littel specific.

21. Tuesday because Rove was allegedly given
24 "business hours" to get his affairs in order. I would assume that meant Friday, Monday and then Tuesday.

9. I don't think 2/3's of the nation knows who K Rove is and
now that he has stepped down from his important post to a less important post, I am not expecting much from the corporate media (especially the TV).

:sigh:

Howard Cosell... you have to hear it to get Cosell's accent right, "down goes Fray-shuh!"

(you have to scroll down to find it... but, there are not many)

15. I would prefer "Do you believe in miracles? Yes!!!"
I was one of the few that saw that live... I remember running upstairs to my parent's saying that the US hockey team beat Russia and they didn't believe me. I think I was 13 at the time.
