I don't generally ask DU for help on a local poll, but Havocdad & I have noticed polls on the Billings Gazette getting freeped a lot lately. The first hours/days responses seem to be fairly tight and sorta in line with the opinions we hear locally, then WHAM! The whole thing goes very one sided.

Must be all the defenses going into high gear for Senator (soon to be booted ) Burns! We seem to be seeing poll results slanting badly off their norms.

PLEASE bookmark a Montana newspaper of two and check for polls often! Guess I will have to start posting polls links here more often. The GOP spinners are hitting us of late. Montana is veering off their marching route to the point they are starting to worry!

Burns going down + Brian Schweitzer's star is rising = GOP will be busting their balls to rope Montana back into the herd. DEMS would do well to notice and lend us a hand here! We gonna turn this state blue yet and the neocons are worried!

Thinking the GOP is sensing they are losing the Heartland big time. They will be working hard to spin and confuse.

DEMS need to focus on getting the message out in the Great Fly Over so we don't lose the ground we have been gaining.

We KNOW folks here do not trust the federalies. LOL There is an exaggerated paranoia about all things federal here. When the poll about the spying thing suddenly went from a pretty balanced, but slightly against the spying to MAJORLY in favor of government spying, the locals around here all knew something was up!

I really don't like the idea of a lot of outside influence on local polls, but since we are obviously getting it from the RW, I do think it is fair to ask my ol buddies at DU to come on by and influence too!

Guess I best be getting the coffee on and make some pie. Hoping lots of evilDUers drop on into the Big Sky to hit the poll the way the Right Wingers are hitting it.
