Rove to make speech on economy Monday (UK Times Online)
"...Karl Rove, Bush’s closest adviser, will come out fighting tomorrow with a speech in Washington on the economy. It will address what the White House is calling the “greatest story never told”: why Bush is not getting the credit for a growing economy.

But Rove is expected to learn shortly whether he will be indicted for his role in the outing of Valerie Plame, a CIA officer. He could soon come to be regarded as damaged goods..."

5. HAAA!!!!! I knew it!
I think that also answers the question someone asked about which came first, scheduling the Monday Shrub speech or Rove indictment. My guess was the speech, and it looks like this Rover speech was also scheduled BEFORE the Fitzmans Surprise!!!!

17. It was popular when I was in school too. I can't say I liked it
a whole lot, since you had to try to break through locked arms of the other side when your name got called.

Being female, that wasn't my favorite thing to do.

10. I love the UK articles.
"On the same day the home of Kyle “Dusty” Foggo, the third most senior official at the CIA, was raided by the FBI. The raid strengthened the impression of a scandal-ridden government in disarray."

So much information popping up and so little time to analyze it before the next fiasco surfaces.

Wouldn't you love to be a mouse in the corner of the room where conversations at Camp David are being held this weekend? I wonder who all is there?

12. I think I'd rather read or hear a report from the mouse that WAS
there than to be there myself.

I think it would be very sickening, revolting, disgusting, and if possible make us think still less of these crooks.

18. He made it, so what has been the deal?
I saw the beginning only where he started out commenting on how there were so many more people here than last time he spoke here.

Hehe.

19. I did listen long enuf to hear him recycle the lie that the recession
in 2000 began prior to the calamitous event called inauguration of Dubya et al.

The guvment's own stats etc showed it began AFTER the calamity of his inauguration.
