So is el pretzeldente really going to speak about immigration on Monday?
Or will he change his topic to indictments on his staff? Or cancel his speech all together?

9. Maybe they'll have that impersonator speak?
Ya know, there are times when 'bush' almost pronounces things right and gets his words and facial expressions co-ordinated... is it possible they already do the double thing? ;)

15. Yep
:thumbsup;

OT, do you think they are still drawing straws in the WH to see who has to tell the chump, err, chimp about the indictment? Or are they keeping him locked away 'practicing' for Monday night to keep him in the dark?

17. LOL I was just talking to a friend today about that
We were laughing at the fact that we peons who read the newspaper may very well find out about major events long before he does.

7. Monday's speech will probably be one that I WILL watch!
If Rove's indictment comes out on Monday, it will be very interesting to see if * brings it up at all. And if he does, how he will try to spin it. But my guess is that he won't even mention Rove at all, and he will hammer out some mindless blather about immigration.

8. Networks may not air it any way
CBS, ABC May Not Air Speech By Scott Collins, Times Staff Writer May 13, 2006

Its supposed to be a presidential address lasting less than 15 minutes. Networks may choose not to air even without Rove getting indicted.

President Stupid just can't sell the toothpaste the way he used to....

13. I HOPE they don't cover him, but isn't that pretty unusual?
I honestly think I remember ALL Presidential prime time speeches being covered on the major networks, even back to when I was a little kid.
