I know it's the Red Cross and all, but jeez,
Couldn't they come up with a better backdrop?

6. Yeah, I sure see the irony in that
Their mission statement reads as follows:

"The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies."

And this:

Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement:

Humanity
Impartiality
Neutrality
Independence
Volunteer Service
Unity
Universality

This sure seems to be at odds with that.

3. Why, why, WHY do they always put RABBIT FLAGS up????
Rabbit flags are flags that multiply like, well, rabbits.

In the old days, when the Prez or any other federal official came on the tube, there was ONE flag, nicely lit, over his shoulder. ONE, not a slew of them. They AREN'T friken BUNTING, and I hate that they do this. And the First Lady usually didn't sweat having a flag backdrop at all.

It's OBSCENE. They're turning a symbol of national pride into a disgusting display that affiliates it with GOP incompetence.
