my Partner just came home laughing
her butt off

she had to run down to local agway for some straw - we are reseeding some lawn...

ennywho - she walks in the door and is laughing... between the laughs she says she's been laughing all the way home

she finally gets herself under control and says:

"While I was standing in line at agway, a couple of guys in front of me were grousing about how much gas costs, how much everything costs, how the country is going to hell in a hand basket...the second guy nods and says - yeah, we don't need terrorists to destroy the country - Bush is doing it all by himself.

Then when I go outside to load up the straw, the two guys are bent over the bumper on their truck -- RIPPING OFF BUSH-CHENEY stickers!!!"

2. I would rather they wear their baggage, pretty soon
the deniability will be like a lot of Germans saying after WWII that they were never Nazis.

7. I wish we'd had such a good story to share
Edited on Sat May-13-06 01:12 PM by theHandpuppet
My partner and I were out doing our weekend errands and stopped for gas. Lo and behold, at the pump across from us was this huge van with personalized Maryland plates -- front and back -- which simply spelled out "DUBYA". Out waddles this pasty, tall guy who looks like a huge Pillsbury Dough Boy in shorts and a pastel polo shirt. It was all I could do not to get rude.

10. informal survey
Driving to/from work I've noticed less and less cars have "w" stickers

Up until a couple of months ago I would see 2 or 3 of them -- lately haven't seen any -- but I still see quite a few with Kerry/Edwards stickers
