Why don't we just hire more Border Agents to patrol the Mexican border?
why use National Guard?

Isn't this mind-numbingly simple?

2. Yes, but it doesn't achieve the hidden agenda and that's to get
our local soldiers out from individual governor control and under chimpy's control. Especially since some cities in some states are bringing up impeachment.

5. I am convinced that using the National Guard is merely a start............
....toward "Brown Shirts" in every city in American. Think about it, once the National Guard is deployed, and people get used to seeing them out and about, wouldn't it be easier then to deploy the Guard elsewhere??

10. Yikes!
Hell, you might even be asked to take a few in for a night or 2 as part of your civic duty, unless of course you have something to hide or hate america...

6. INS agents cost money and require training
Using the National Guard guys means using guys who have already pledged those weekends and summer months, the cost doesn't go up.

Personally, I'd just prefer we hire more INS agents. Maybe we could pay for it by admitting Stupid's Star Wars system doesn't work and halting its deployment.

Shoot, there would be enough money left over from that one to insure half the uninsured in this country.

11. Yes. Lots of windowdressing and misallocated resources
along with unspent billions on programs that actually do something while reliably red states in the heartland with a minute chance of being targets are lavished with funds, this is what the team of crooks and liars is doing.

Misusing the Guard is just their latest scam.

7. Probably because the government would end up hiring illegals to do
the job. To save money on salaries, of course.(sarcasm intended)

9. Why don't we do it on the cheap?
And just hire undocumented Mexicans to patrol the border.

Nothing but upsides to this idea.

* Work Cheap
* No need for benefits
* Speak Spanish
* Know the border region

12. I think this a ploy to deflect from the NSA data mining. It seems that
the NSA took backburner once it was announced that the shrub was going to give a major speech on immigration. After the speech was announced, CNN started to run ads on the speech as if it was going to be the next best thing to white bread.
