Here's mine

Albright: 'I am soooo out of here'

Powell: 'I'd rather be having root canal. Why didn't these idiots listen to me.'

Rice: 'If Colin Powell starts whining about us not listening to him I'm going have his ass hauled off to Guantanamo.'

Bush: 'Is Albright done talking yet? Is it safe to turn off my IPOD"

Cheney: 'ZZZZZZZZZZ'

5. That looks like the evolution of politics
Starting with the neo-neanderthal on the left, progressing to the compassionate neanderthal in the second seat, followed by Contbelieveya Erectus, followed by the man with a heart, who just happened to sell his soul to the devil, and finally with the heart and voice of the human race on the far right.

12. Yeah, Powell... Well...
While he lent credence to the enemy, and played a role in their circus... I think his heart was in the right place. Behind the scenes, he was constantly engaged in struggles to keep Bolton from pulling off all sorts of malfeasance. Otherwise, he also presented a voice of sanity within the Bush cabinet--though it was unwanted, ignored and rejected. Sure, it's also true that he hasn't broken the law and told his stories (everything at that level is classified--especially under this administration). I can't blame him for not risking that kind of punishment in his hopes to retain a peaceful life. He did, even after retirement, make efforts to inform Congress members about Bolton--and that did involve some risk.

No, I'm not a fan. I don't care for the guy to speak of. I think it's unfortunate that he assisted them, unwittingly or not. I would have like to have seen him resign mid-term. Even now, I would like to see him stand up and expose the Bush Administration--even if it destroyed him (but I can't expect such courage/willingness from people). Still, I'm confident that he was manipulated by the Bush Administration into doing what he did. He may have done things he's not proud of, still, I'm reasonably comfortable with the idea that if he'd thought he could, he wouldn't have gone along.

All in all, though, given the kinds of people we see in government... and given the people in that picture... by comparison to the three on the left, both people on the right are veritable saints!
