Friends at DU, better you look carefully at future. The signs are all there for the BIGGEST ERUPTION of all. The US economic is a sham and the BIG KABOOM going to happen soon.

Better you convert paper assets into cash and fast. Worldwide people cashing out of market. Intervention into market by central banks wont help now. It is everyone for themself.

Going to get real nasty. Sad US dont have correction plan. Now world cant prevent big blow up no more.

1. Thanks for the cheerful start to my Saturday. Sorry to say I think
you are right. Fake "home equity" has been holding up the U.S. economy for over four years now.

2. I have my investments in foreign companies
since they hold most of our dollars, so I think I'll stay put. Cash will devalue rapidly which is why many people are now moving to gold.

4. Don't have much left to convert after disability and the bush* years
during Clintons tenure we done good, raised two teenage sons and still were able to save some. bushie* is trying his best to wipe that out though. I think what you are saying is so true, we're slowly being isolated as a country and as things get worst that will be more so. A big thank you to the repukes who have their heads in the sand so to speak, it is them who have us where we are today. But thank you Overseas Visitor for giving us some insight from abroad, from someone out, looking in.

5. the drama of a wet fart
You should write for hollywood! :-)

It won't be that dramatic, the dollar collapse is a whimper
that does not sink home directly to the cost of a cappucino
at starbucks.

You're talking about a continent with 3 hundred million people
across it. As much as the dollar troubles affect the poor and
unprepared, life will go on... there is no big blow.
