The pro-Porter Goss portion of the CIA media divulged the NSA scandal
Here is my thesis: almost moments after Porter Goss got sacked from
the CIA, USA Today comes out with its lead story about
the database collected by the NSA Re: tens of millions of America's
phone company customers.

Just an odd synchronicity? Hardly. The main stream media is
not a freely speaking enterprise. In regards to national news,
it cannot touch any major story unless the reigning force at that paper
(usually an editor) gives a go ahead on a particular subject.
And that editor is under influence of the CIA.
Otherwise would we not have seen one PERSON SOMEWHERE wearing the hat of editor who
would scream "Bloody Foul Play" after the bogus elections of 2000 and 2004?
And we would have the ELECTION DISCUSSION in some huge media outlet ON THE FRONT
PAGE. But it didn't happen in New York or Chicago, or Miami or Denver or LA or
well not any major paper I can think of...Are they all stupid? No not stupid.
All unaware. No not unaware...
They have all been indoctrinated in order to get to the supreme post of editor
and whether they know it or not, NO CAN BE EDIToR UNLESS TOTALLY UNDER
THE INFLUENCE OF THE MAJOR POWERS. They may not be actual signnees of a
contract with the Central Intel Bureau - but they have had to prove themselves
as thinking along those same lines.

Sometimes, the consensus of the citizenry can affect the mainstream
press in such a way that the story line changes. That takes time - lots of time.

Here in California when the MTBE gas additive crisis was occurring,
it took over fifteen months for the "rabble rousers" to affect
the media. Even though a great majority of the "rabble rousers" were
dyed in the wool Republicans. Here's what the MTBE opponenets were up against
- the big oil forces. And so let's examine the possibility of the fact
that the Big Oil forces might be in Collusion with the Big CIA Head Honchos.
Is it somewhat likely or even very likely that the top people in CIA country are
also connected to the top people in Big Oil? I would not doubt it...

And even when the story supposed ran on PAGE one, always the story was spubn
into total lies whenever possible.
Witness the SP press release (credited to no single reporter) stating that
The CA Gov.'s Blue Ribbon Panel had Found NO POSSIBLE CONNECTION BETWEEN
MTBE AND CANCER (THEY HAD FOUND EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE OF THAT - BUT SCIENCE
COMMITTEES DO NOT EXERT CONTROL OVER THE PRESS - BIG OIL DOES.)

It amazed me that this leak about the NSA data collection coincided so quickly
with Goss' dismissl. Also FURTHER FRIGGIN' AMAZING me was the recent
TIME magazine that came out on May 8th (don't let the usual drivel of a cover
boasting that reading it will turn you on to the lives of one hundred influential
people of drivelling importance like the German Pope and AngelinaJolie -
the mag this week is revolutionary.

It printed verbatim the comments of not one but THREE CIA bigwigs, including
Frank McGovern.
Their comments took up most of two pages - and not only were their words
printed verbatim -TIME did not snipe at them or make any weird DEROGATORY
editorial comment as I have seen them do over the last thirty years anytime
anyone tries to take down one of their "Guys" (Ron Reagan occupied that sanctity of
constant smarmy protection, so did George the Elder, and of course TIME has
honored BUSH II with almost deified allegiance (ALL HAIL TO THE BUSH might
as well be the caption of every air-brushed front cover Presidential
Portrait that is run every fivve weeks or so... I swear they have someone
on their staff that really has InDesign's ability to handle smirk removal
down to a fine art...)

These three CIA bigwigs all discussed the obvious (to them, though not so to Hayden
or Negroponte or Bush) contradiction of swearing an oath to an agency that
will NOT ALLOW for the leaking of anything touched upon by a CIA mission -
even if the leaking is necessary to save this country's soul, while at the
same time swearing an oath to protect this nation and its Constitution.

I left my copy of TIME at work, but tomorrow will post the verbatim comments. It did
give me hope that some top officials in the CIA have held a sincere allegiance to this
Country's founding principles - although they at times they have faltered and have
acted in a way less than faithful.

but apparently the house of cards that BUSH Co has constructed is so dangerous to this
Nation that The Three go on record as totally opposed to what BUSH & CO's plan for the agency
(and our lives as well) will be in the nearest of futures - ie today...

8. But why was she working on it for months?
They were starting to see which way the winds were blowing, and were
putting their ducks in order Whoever her editor is, he or she is
in the pro-Goss camp and was fervently preparing for what was coming...

4. Sounds pretty reasonable
Remembering Goss was no angel either might help. Hopefully we can all assist to keep this big fur ball rolling. None of these folks I would ever invite to my house to have dinner but keeping my fingers crossed that the pettiness continues at it's same frantic pace.

5. I tend to agree that some benevolent but paternalistic powers are acting
in our favor--that is, on behalf of the people--to curtail or oust this junta before it goes apeshit. But it's like reading entrails. It's very "medieval" what we're going through. We read entrails. We look for signs and omens. We wonder how the power is lining up behind the scenes, because there isn't a whole lot of power upfront, in the hands of the American people.

I think that the best thing WE can do--we, the people--is work on election reform, to restore our right to vote, and throw these Bushite voting machine corporations out of our election system. Our right to vote IS our power. It is the chief means by which we exercise our sovereignty. With it, we can do anything we need to, in our own interest. Without it, we are slaves, serfs, victims, half citizens (or less).

6. The timing is what makes it a real possibility
It doesn't have to be from a pro-Goss faction within the CIA, but it is likely that a faction probably didn't like the idea of an NSAer running the place, so they dug up some dirt and leaked it. I doubt whether it is because they abide with the founding principles, but it's more likely a way to make it hard Negroponte to get his guy appointed. Also Time is a traditional mouth piece for the CIA.

The real speculation is what will happen if Bush decides to appoint Hayden anyhow.
