Before bed, here's what I believe tonight:
1. WE are in control. This is our time. No matter what the MSM says, we will be supported in 99% of what we want to do, RIGHT NOW.

2. The Republicans will still try to steal the next election. We need to be vigilant, and continue to make a Republican victory in 2006 completely implausible.

3. The MSM are digging their own grave. People aren't buying their crap anymore, and they are turning in droves to alternate forms of media, such as the internet. If the MSM doesn't wake up soon, they will have nothing left.

And finally, and most pessimistically;

4. It may already be too late. We have massive personal and public debt. The value of our assets, particularly homes, are declining. Gas prices, and the unaccountable printing of new money, are fueling inflation. The stock market is finally starting to notice.

This mess needs to be cleaned up sooner rather than later. We are on top now. In order to get our country back, in order to help 99% of Americans, in order to save the lives of our troops, WE MUS GO FOR THE JUGULAR NOW. This is no time to play politics. This is no time to show fear. We must fight (in the abstract sense) for what we believe in. Because, as in turns out 70% of Americans (and growing) believe it too.

Good night, everyone. May we wake up to a world with some hope in it.

2. Do not ignore the wild cards.
* Environmental disaster -- Global warming is the first wild card. This may manifest itself as another Katrina-type disaster, or something worse--maybe considerably worse. (Watch PBS Nova: Dimming Sun for a real scare.) Anyway you look at this wild card, it will go very badly for ChimpCo and could mean disaster for many.

** Terrorist attack -- I mean a real one. (not going to get into the any tin foil hat stuff here). This is a bad scenerio for us. ChimpCo benefits from this with the caveat that he doesn't take the blame for being asleep at the switch (again). Who knows what would happen. ChimpCo could do something very evil in response here.

*** Another war -- This would likely not go well for ChimpCo. People are very tired of the war, the lies and the equivocations of these guys. This wild card could also turn into a nightmare, especially if there's nukes involved.

There are others, but I thought I'd relate some of the more cheerful ones. ;-)
