Ooops they forgot to ask...

...in the Washington Post-ABC News Poll:
Do you think it's right that government officials break the law to conduct illegal wiretaps without a constitutionally-required search warrant?

Instead they framed it like these stupid questions:

1. I was away all day. I had seen some references to this crap but...
had no idea of what absolute bullshit claptrap the questions were.

Thanks for posting this.

The respondents were led right down the garden effing path.

2. 502 people polled, other problems with poll(lies, damned lies, statistics)
Edited on Sat May-13-06 12:38 AM by uppityperson
This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone May 11, 2006 among 502 randomly selected adults nationwide. Margin of sampling error for overall results is plus or minus four percentage points. The practical difficulties of doing a survey in a single evening represent other potential sources of error in this or any other overnight poll.

3. Should the government still have to get a warrant
and show probable cause to listen to your phone calls and look at your phone bills?

I don't think people really understand what's happened.
