Skype advertises 256-bit encryption. Nearly impossible to break. If NSA's reading it, Zennstrom is gonna be one embarrassed Swede. I'm sure that they're trying, though.

The NSA can destroy a 256 bit encryption through brute force or mathematical methods. Skype traffic can be mirrored, stored, decrypted, transcripted, and indexed by a machine.


If NSA is reading it they will never tell anyone. Anyone who discloses the NSA's operational capability is committing espionage and should be jailed.
